Teacher Grants and Scholarships

Since 2007, the Foundation has been awarding Faculty and Staff Grants and awarding scholarship monies to college bound seniors. 

Faculty and Staff Grants

The Foundation annually reviews competitive grant proposals from teachers and staff to support projects that fall outside the school budget. Awards are given to proposals that the Foundation believes will increase teaching effectiveness through technology or other tools -- especially projects supporting scholarly or experiential merit or other forms of student accomplishment. 

Scholarships

In addition to funding grants, the Foundation awards approximately $10,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. to recognize excellence and achievement in academics, outstanding citizenship, good character, involvement in the E.O. Smith and extended community, and be committed to pursing a college education. 

Organizations like ours owe their success to the support of large numbers of faithful alumni and friends, and we are certainly no exception. You have helped us by attending our events, including the Red and Black Ball and Pantherpalooza, by supporting these events with gifts and contributions of various kinds, and by contributing financially through our appeals.
