9 Scholarships (and the Edwin O. Smith Award) Awarded This Year!
The Edwin O. Smith Foundation Board is happy to announce that we awarded nine Scholarships to deserving graduating seniors this year!
The E.O. Smith High School Senior Awards night was held on May 23rd, 2019 at Uconn’s Rome Ballroom. Edwin O. Smith Foundation Board Members Melissa Bray and Lisa Drzewiecki were able to present nine deserving students with scholarships thanks to our generous donors!
This year’s recipients are:
Edwin O. Smith Foundation Scholarships: Abigail Ziemba, Julie Harakaly, Bryan Elliott & Guadalupe Juarez Hernandez
Veterans of Foreign Wars Scholarships: Caitlin Reynolds & Jack Molloy
Jack Cohen Science Prize: Michael Lin
Herbert James Segar Scholarship Fund: Jason Hnath
The David C. Stearns Memorial Scholarship: Adam Luchon
The 2019 Edwin O. Smith Award: Sydney Collins
